The collection is named after Giorgio Morandi ( 1890-1964 ) , the Italian painter, whose works on still life is a major inspiration for the design of this collection. When delineating objects, Morandi focuses on its apparently simple shape and grants it a tranquil subtlety. With a refined craftsmanship, we try to reinterpret and represent Morandi’s deceptive simplicity through the unsculptured geometric bodies that is colored with a futurist industrial black in this collection.


In the very center of the booth, a scene is established, and an atmosphere created, by the joint demonstration of WUU’s representative works, the STARGAZER Pendant Lamp, the T Wall Lamp, and the Blueprint Table, along with the arched door. The message we try to express through it is that both clothing design and furniture design are attempts and acts to actualize the artists’ abstract perception and understanding of life and beauty. And WUU has a common understanding of beauty and a shared pursuit of delicate craftsmanship with VEGA ZAISHI WANG. Through the demonstration of products, theses shared attributes are reflected in the atmosphere created.
