Sun had lost his two forearms and five toes in a disastrous trial.So he was down in spirit and tried to commit suicide.What gave him a lot of hopes in life were his wife’s company and the birth of his daughter.Sun began to research on the artificial limb in 80s.From the first generation of iron-hand which was made from the simple rubber sleeve and soup ladle to solve the eating problem to the forth generation of iron-hand which has complicated structure,this duration is about 30 years.Through the original mechanical principle,Sun could almost solve all the problems of living and working.At the same time he has helped about 300 disabled people to solve their problems by making artificial limbs.

在一次试验事故中,孙吉发炸掉了两只前臂以及五根脚趾。后曾情绪低落,屡次尝试自杀。在妻子的不离不弃以及女儿的出世,给孙吉发带来了生活的希望。孙吉发在80年代便开始研究假肢。从简单的橡胶套以及汤勺制作而成的第一代铁手解决了吃饭问题,到现今结构复杂的第四代铁手,经历了近三十年时间。铁手通过原始的机械原理,孙吉发能几乎完成生活以及工作的所有问题。同样他已经为 300 多位残疾人制造了假肢来解决他们遇到的困难。
